Black Women's Community Circle: Dating While Black

Join us for an in-depth dialogue as we explore the ways Black women navigate romantic relationships and modern dating culture. How do stereotypes and tropes about Black women impact the expectations of their romantic and intimate partners and how does social location show up in interracial relationships?

Latinx Women's Community Circle: Latinx Role in Higher Education
Wednesday, October 23, 2019 - 6:00pm to 7:00pm

Join us on Wednesday, October 23rd for an in-depth dialogue on Latinx Role in Higher Education. Your co-facilitators Aileen and Camila will help guide conversations on access to higher education for Latinx students, building bridges for generational success, and navigating barriers to graduation. 

The Latinx Women’s Community Circle is a space dedicated to community care, solidarity, and intentional coalition building led by Latinx women and for Latinx women. The group is facilitated by two Women’s Resource Center student leaders who lead bi-weekly discussions about issues that impact Latinx Women. Women's GradChat: Imposter Syndrome
Thursday, October 24, 2019 - 5:30pm to 7:00pm

Join us for a free meal and in-depth dialogue as we explore the impact of imposter syndrome on our education, careers, and daily lives. What aspects of our environment and social location contribute to feelings of doubt and shame and how have we overcome these external barriers to internalizing our value and accomplishments? 

Women’s GradChats serve as a space for graduate women to engage meaningfully with one another, build community, and dialogue about their experiences as graduate women of Georgia Tech. Registration is required for this event by midnight on Tuesday, October 22nd.
