Body Image Committee
The goal of the GT Body Image Committee is to encourage male and female GT students to examine perceptions of body image and to generate discussion of body image issues on-campus. This was an initiative started by Dr. Jill Barber from the Counseling Center in 2007.
We hope to focus on the following objectives:
- Develop collaborative relationships to advocate for body image issues on-campus
- Promote body image resources on-campus
- Offer body image programming throughout year
- Conduct research to inform and evaluate body image efforts
- Encourage student involvement regarding body image efforts
