Stamps Health Services

Patients can expect the very best medical attention at Stamps Health Services. Our physicians are experienced in all areas of primary care, emergency, internal, sports, and travel medicine. We are staffed by licensed physicians, registered nurses, medical and x-ray technologists, health educators and pharmacists.

Appointments: Students can make an appointment in person, via the Patient Portal, or by calling (404) 894-1420 and speaking with one of our appointment desk staff. Appointments for Women's Clinic and Psychiatry Clinic are not available online through the Patient Portal. Please call (404) 894-1434 to schedule an appointment in Women's Clinic; call (404) 894-2585 to schedule an appointment in Psychiatry Clinic. The Appointment Desk follows the same Hours of Operation and closes at 5p, Monday through Friday. If there are no online appointments available, please call us for additional care options. If you feel you are experiencing a life or limb threatening emergency and need an ambulance, please call 911.


Women's Clinic

The Stamps Health Services’ Women's Clinic, located on the second floor, provides a wide range of affordable services that respond to women's health needs. Routine exams are provided by a women's health nurse practitioner.

A reminder that we do provide "morning after" or emergency contraception and that this must be done on a walk-in basis either through Women's Clinic or the walk-in system (triage) on the first floor for medical reasons.

Health Initiatives provides upstream, innovative, and relevant programs, services and initiatives to help students and employees thrive. The team creatively designs prevention and education efforts to promote, nurture, and enrich the Georgia Tech community of health, well-being, and caring. Services include health and well-being educational programs, events and workshops, nutrition counseling, and sexual violence prevention, education and response.


Voice Advocates

Health Initiatives has two VOICE Advocates who can provide immediate and ongoing support to victims and survivors as they cope with an experience of sexual violence, including information on reporting options, regardless of when the violence occurred. Advocates can also connect victims and survivors with resources if they are struggling with classes, relationships, or other consequences resulting from their experience. Health Initiatives also provides information, educational programs and outreach, and referrals, and support for Georgia Tech students, faculty, staff, and administration regarding sexual assault, rape, dating or domestic violence, sexual harassment, stalking, and related issues. An on-call advocate is available 24/7 and can be reached through GTPD.

Counseling Center

The Counseling Center specializes in all types of counseling. And if you have an emergency need for counseling or help after hours, they have dispatchers that will have counselors call you, just call the number, and they should be able to provide you with a counselor after hours and even on the weekends when school is in session.

The Counseling Center organizes groups for students who are dealing with women's issues. These groups include Body Image/Eating Concerns (a group for students who struggle with their relationship with food and with their body image), Connections (a group for Gay, Lesbian and Bisexual persons that focuses on relationships), and Women's Group (a group which allows GT women to connect with others around personal and emotional issues in single gender environment).

Campus Recreation, also known as the Campus Recreation Complex or CRC, provides a state-of-the-art fitness center, world-class aquatics facilities, leadership challenge course, and outdoor recreation fields.
